The neighborhood was ready to go to National Night Out despite the weather that day.
The rain stayed away while we gathered to see one another and visit with neighbors we haven’t seen in a while!
Eating up our potluck, the sun appeared to be ordered for the event 🙂
Our SAFFE Officer Milewski attended and reminded our community of the importance of the day.
The San Antonio Fire Department showed up and got to display their truck to the curious kids and remind us of how important they are to our community.
Mr. & Mrs. Charles managed to face paint several kids with some great super heroes and artistry!
Mr. & Mrs. Jones offered up some plants for our raffle in addition to our certificates – that was a pleasant surprise and great offering for our neighborhood winners!
Brooks Academy kept the kids entertained with bubbles and volleyball time.
We thank, especially our neighbors in the Hopeton culdesac who came out to make this event a success by sweeping up leaves before the event, setting up and cleaning up. Thanks to all of those who worked so hard to make that night a great success!
Councilman Trevino and crew joined late that evening after visiting 7 associations that night – his watch was proof of the time. Ha!
We will keep this event going each year to promote neighbors better connected with neighbors!
